ACCESSIBILITY

Lync Media Group Ltd. is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.  We aim to improve and make our websites as accessible as possible and we realise there are areas that still need improving.

How we are doing

  • We have included facilities to allow the user to change the text size through the browser.
  • We have included facilities to allow the user to change the layout for plain layout view.
  • We use plain English.
  • Wherever possible and appropriate, we use live text instead of graphics to reduce the download time of pages and increase users’ control.
  • Although we use color to organise information on the site, we have included non-color dependent ways of doing this, hence no information is exclusively conveyed using color.
  • Wherever possible and appropriate, we have an alternate text attribute for images and hyperlinks.

We will continue to develop the website to increase the level of accessibility and endeavour to conform to industry standards to ensure all of our users enjoy a seamless experience. Below are a set of guidelines for making the current version of our website more accessible:

  • leaves content images
  • removes background images

Contrast

For users who may require high contrast, we would recommend using the Google Chrome browser and a plugin called “High Contrast”. Click here to download the plugin.

Colour Vision Deficiency (CVD)

For users who may suffer from a form of colour vision deficiency we would recommend using the Google Chrome browser and a plugin called “Daltonize”. This offers support for the three most common bands of CVD. Click here to download the plugin
